Barbara Jourden, Midgley Bride
I was so excited to start searching for the 'perfect' dress. I tried on many dresses - and there were so many beautiful ones - but none felt like the 'one'. I actually purchased a dress, it was beautiful, but after I bought it I just couldn't help but feel like it wasn't right. I finally went to a bridal store in Cincinnati to check out more dresses, and knew they had a large collection of Maggie Sottero dresses. I pulled out five or six to try on, and began the process. Each dress I tried was beautiful, but I explained to the bridal consultant I had yet to find a dress that had EVERYTHING I wanted. The last dress I tried on, ASM3297, I almost didn't even try. The sample color was a darker champagne, and I couldn't quite tell what it looked like in the bag, but the bodice was so beautifully detailed I decided to go against my initial reaction. As soon as I got a look at it in the mirror, I knew it was the 'one'. Finally! It had everything I wanted - sweetheart neckline, lace up corset back, beautiful beading and detail on the bodice and train, dropped waist - it was beautiful. I ordered the dress in all ivory, and it was perfect. I encourage brides to look past the interesting sample color because this dress is drop dead gorgeous! So many people said how beautiful the dress was - I can't believe there aren't more photos of it on the website!
