I grew up on the Gulf Coast, and even though I now live in Ohio, I flew down to New Orleans to pick out my dress with my mother and maid of honor. I tried on a handful of dresses, and absolutely nothing felt right. The consultant pulled "Tracey," and I knew I had seen it before online. It was one I had been drooling over, but I didn't think I'd actually get to try it on, so I didn't specifically ask for it. Once I got it on, I just felt simply beautiful. I knew that was my dress; it was meant to be.
