Every little girl dreams about their wedding day, their whole life, or at least I did. Marrying the perfect man is the absolute most important part of the wedding and I had found Mr. Right! Just as I had searched years to find my husband, I ended up in yet another search. To find the perfect wedding gown. After numerous gowns and wondering if I was ever going to the dress of my dreams, I stumbled upon Tracey online before the 2011 trunk show at one of the local Bridal Salons. Something told me that I was going to be pleased with this gown even before trying it on. It had everything I was looking for; a long train, ivory/white color, sweetheart neckline, a mermaid shape and it was lace. It really is true, when you put on that perfect dress, you just know. Just like you know when you've found the one your going to marry. Good things are worth waiting for and I finally said yes to my dress :)
What truly made this gown perfect, was that it matched the lace on my mother's cathedral length veil perfectly! Who would have thought that I would have been so lucky to find a dress that matched the lace detail on her veil after 30 years of my parents wedding! It must have been fate. I added a few of my own touches to the gown - a rhinestone belt and had the corset changed to covered buttons. On my wedding day I felt beautiful in my gown. It was elegant, timeless and best of all I was able to wear my something borrowed and honor my mother who was so proud to see me in her veil. Thank you Sottero & Midgley for designing Tracy, it was the perfect gown to wear when marrying the man of my dreams!
