Courtney Friesen, Maggie Bride
As excited as I was to shop for my wedding dress, I had not anticipated it being an easy task. My history with dresses and dress shopping has been a little complicated as I am very picky when it comes to dresses. I had no clue what I wanted but knew I didn't want lace, straps, poof or embellishments. I looked through stacks of magazines before stepping foot in a bridal shop so that I wouldn't waste anybody's time with my pickiness. Looking back, I actually flipped right past Adorae several times, not even giving it a second thought due to the beading and feeling that the bottom was too poofy for me. However, when I finally started shopping, Adorae was on a mannequin in one of the first shops we went to and my mom and I both knew I had to try it on. At first a little leery about the beading, I was hesitant. But before long, I had fallen in love with it and kept going back to the store just to try it on again! I felt so confident and comfortable on my wedding day, and it really was the perfect dress for me. Six months later, I am still getting compliments on my dress!
